What's the difference between the Free, Plus, and Premium plans?
Square Free gives you basic point-of-sale tools with standard processing rates. Square Plus ($49/mo) adds advanced features like team management and more robust reporting. Square Premium ($149/mo) unlocks the full feature set including custom permissions, advanced forecasting, and dedicated customer support from Square.
Where do I buy the hardware?
Hardware is ordered directly through Square after you create your account. This ensures your hardware is linked to your Square account and warrantied properly. We'll show you all the available equipment on our Square hardware pages so you can plan ahead before you sign up.
Can I switch plans after signing up?
Yes. Square allows you to upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from within your Square Dashboard. Starting on the free plan and upgrading later is completely fine.
What industries does Square work best for?
